Yeshiva Temimei Darech caters to the serious student by providing a deep and thorough knowledge of Jewish texts with a focus on developing independent learning skills. We offer a supportive and comfortable environment coupled with individual attention and guidance.
Our dedicated staff combines time-honored yeshiva methodology with cutting edge educational development and our treasured alumni are a living testament to the success of our program. YTD is designed to bring a beginner student to a highly functioning level of reading and understanding hebrew and aramaic texts in their original.
The Whole Picture
YTD follows the holistic Chabad approach to Torah study that students find both satisfying and energizing: Classic Talmudic and legal study is integrated with the study of ancient Kabbalah, Chassidic thought, and contemporary mysticism. Students tackle Jewish law with the same vigor with which they embrace spirituality, and apply logical analysis to the study of metaphysics.
Learning Jewish Law must be balanced with its proper spiritual and mystical framework. YTD follows in this revolutionary tradition, providing students with a profound grasp of the secrets of existence. The Rebbe often stressed that the knowledge of Kabbalah and Chassidic thought is a fundamental requirement that addresses the unique challenges of our generation.
At the end of the day, the ultimate goal is to apply the wisdom we gain in order to improve our lives and those of the people around us.
Curriculum
Maintaining a disciplined schedule is highly stressed in our yeshiva. In addition to the actual content of the learning, our students learn to organize and maintain their days and even hours; a skill which impacts the rest of their lives, their future goals and pursuits.
Students are generally expected to enroll in a full-time program of study. Special arrangements are sometimes made for students transitioning into or out of our program.

- Students will obtain smicha from Kiryat Malachi Chief Rabbi Yitzchok Yehuda Yaroslavski
- YTD has operated in Tsfat for 9 years under the auspices of head shliach Rabbi Chaim Kaplan, program director, Rabbi Shalom Pasternak, and rosh yeshiva, Rabbi Ariel Gorenstein
- Program features highly organized curriculum on all pertinent sections of Yoreh Deah and Hilchos Shabbos
- Experienced magid shiur, Rabbi Ariel Gorenstein will provide daily shiurim and ensure that all bochurim receive appropriate and required guidance through the material. Rabbi Gorenstein prior to becoming Rosh Yeshiva at YTD, learned for seven years in kollel in Rechovot and received rabbinic ordination from the internationally esteemed ‘Hechal Shlomo’
- YTD has created an innovative way of mastering יורה דעה that will solidify the material and build within the students the skills for learning הלכה בעיון
- YTD has a distinctly conducive learning environment, offering a beis midrash overlooking the sweeping views of Tzfat and northern Israel.
